How the Call Goes

First we ask what you've noticed. Maybe a ceiling stain, shingles on the lawn or a gutter coming away from the house. After that we ask about the home, such as its age and whether the roof has been patched before. Older roofs tend to have a long list of past repairs, and hearing about them early tells us what gear to bring.

Then we set a day to visit. We check the roof, and the attic if we can get to it, and tell you what we found in everyday words. If a roof repair will do it, you'll hear that. If a replacement is the better choice, we explain why. Your quote comes by phone or face to face, and no work starts until you give the go-ahead.

Good to Have Handy Before You Call

1. A rough idea of how old your home and your roof are.
2. Anything you know about past repairs, patches or a second layer of shingles.
3. Where you've seen water, stains or damage, inside or out.
4. Your insurance claim number, if storm damage has already been reported.
