Roofing in Spencer and the Towns Around It
We work on roofs in Spencer and across the east side of the metro, from small repairs to full replacements. Most of the houses we see have some age on them, so we sort out old patches and worn parts before we tell you what your home needs.
Where Our Crews Work
Spencer is home base. Most weeks we drive out to jobs in Midwest City, Del City, Choctaw and Jones. We also take roof repair, roof inspections and gutter work in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Moore, Warr Acres, Nichols Hills and The Village.
The work is the same wherever you live. We get up on the roof and look at the shingles, the flashing and any decking we can reach. If you let us, we check the attic too. Then we explain what we found in plain words, show you photos and give you a written estimate. If your town is not on this list, ask when you call. We may still be able to help.

What Metro Roofs Tend to Have in Common
- Age of the homes
- Many homes in the area went up between the 1950s and the 1980s, and plenty are on a second or third roof. We regularly find new shingles laid over old ones, plank decking with gaps, or original metal vents that were never swapped out. You can't see any of it from the street. We check for it before pricing, so the estimate matches what's actually on the house.
- Past fixes
- An older roof has a track record. Tar around the chimney. Shingles in a different shade. Caulk around a pipe where flashing belongs. Some of these repairs hold up fine, and some cover soft wood. We tell you which is which and replace only what needs it.
- Local weather
- Central Oklahoma sees spring hail and strong wind, long hot summers and an occasional winter ice storm. The heat dries out older shingles and the wind lifts loose ones. After a storm we look for bruised shingles, torn tabs and dented gutters, and if you choose to file a claim, we explain storm damage repair and the insurance steps.
- Permit rules
- Most metro cities require a permit for a full reroof, and each town has its own rules. For a roof replacement we pull the permit wherever it's required and schedule the work around the inspection, so the paperwork isn't on you.
- Gutters and runoff
- Many older homes have undersized gutters and short downspouts that empty right next to the foundation. While we're on the roof, we check where the water goes. Sometimes what seemed like a roof leak is solved with new gutters.
